The Sensor 5.0 heart rate armband uses optical heart rate technology that improvers over the HTP 4.0. the 5.0 still offers the ability to collect both heart rate and steps. This is the most comfortable and lightweight armband heart rate monitor on the market and is equipped with Bluetooth and ANT+ technology. Comfortably worn on the bicep, forearm or leg (if you choose to use the accelerometer to count cadence), the Sensr 5.0 heart rate monitor comes with two adjustable bands (small – orange color and large – black color) and is water resistant. It has an easy magnet charging dock and the rechargeable battery gives you a full 20 hours of power and 8 hours of memory. The Sensor 5.0 seamlessly pairs with the Heart Tech Plus group app and HOME app along with smartphones, fitness apps, and most GPS bike computers and watches. The Sensor 5.0 offers 5 zone lights and which is one of the major upgrades from the 4.0.  The 5.0 works as followed:

Sensr 5.0 will blink blue: When user is 50 to 59 percent of  max heart rate

Will blink green: When user is 60 to 69 percent of  max heart rate

Will blink yellow : When user is 70 to 79 percent of  max heart rate

Will blink purple : When user is 80 to 89 percent of  max heart rate

Will blink red : When user is 90 to 100 percent of  max heart rate
